How to set up AutoFollowUp in Lemlist (via Zapier)

How to Set Up AutoFollowUp?

In order to set up an AutoFollowUp in Lemlist, you will need two campaigns:

1.) Your "Main" campaign - this is the normal sequence you would send out, where you send out the video, that prospects will then click on to view

2.) Your "AutoFollowUp" campaign - this is the sequence you will send out to leads as soon as they've viewed their Pitchlane video

3.) Enter the page for the AutoFollowUp Campaign, and fill out your AutoFollowUp response

4.) Go to your spreadsheet tool of choice and open your Pitchlane CSV.

5.) Remove all of the leads apart from one

6.) For this one remaining lead input your own email address and rename them to denote them as a placeholder. Then save this spreadsheet as a new copy.

7.) Then go to the Lead List Section and upload this new copy of your CSV into the "AutoFollowUp" Campaign

8.) Navigate to the Review and Launch Screen. From there Select "Auto Review" within the AutoFollowUp Campaign.

9.) Select the settings icon at the top of the screen and navigate to the schedules tab. From there select your time zone and work schedule and change "Reach a new lead" to between 2 and 5 minutes

11.) Link your Pitchlane Account which can be found under the Account tab

12.) Link your Lemlist Account under the account tab on the "Add Lead to Campaign in Lemlist" block.

13.) Ensure that the lead's email aligns with the category.

16.) Ensure that the variables are aligned with their categories

17.) Select your "AutoFollowUp" Campaign

18.) Ensure ThumbnailEmbed is correctly attributed in the custom variable

19.) Congratulations! Your AutoFollowUp is complete!

1.) If a lead books directly via Calendly or Savvycal on the Pitchlane Video Page, this Zap automatically pauses the campaign and blocks any follow-up going through.

Set Up Guide:

1.) Select your Savvycal/Calendly Account

2.) Select "Invitee Email" as the action in the "Pause Lead From All Campaigns in Lemlist"

3.) Ensure all the categories align with the variables

4.) Select your AutoFollowUp Campaign

2.) Prevent a prospect from receiving the AutoFollowUp sequence in Lemlist after they’ve replied to an email
